Privacy Policy & Support
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Questions, feedback, or need help with kilog? Email apps@vandervorst.at and I'll get back to you.
kilog is designed to keep your data private. This policy explains what the app accesses and how it is handled.
With your permission, kilog reads your running and walking workout data from Apple Health. This data is used only to display your mileage, goals, streaks, and related statistics inside the app. kilog does not write any data to Apple Health, and your health data is never transmitted off your device to us or to any third party.
Information you add in the app — such as weekly goals, day labels, and races — is stored on your device.
To keep your information consistent across your own devices, kilog syncs your data using Apple's iCloud (your private iCloud account). This data is stored in your personal iCloud and is not accessible to the developer. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
kilog does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. There are no user accounts and no sign-up.
kilog includes a feature that copies a plain-text summary of your recent weekly distances to your clipboard so you can paste it wherever you choose (for example, into another app or an AI chatbot). This happens only when you tap the button, and kilog is not responsible for how any service you paste it into handles that text.
kilog is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
